April 2008 - Thanks to all who emailed us following the Audio Visual workshop in Capel Curig, it is much appreciated.

Aug 2007 - New Galleries for John and Marion - Images from our recent trip to the west coast of Ireland.

Jul2007 - Capel Curig was again the venue when we hosted a sound workshop for the North Wales and Wirral AV group. Guest speakers were Marion, Peter Coles Bsc Dip Ed FRPS FIPF EFIAP. and Ron Davies FRPS, FIPF ,AV-EFIAP

Mar2007 - Marion has a new gallery - Vietnam New - John has a new gallery - Vietnam

Mar2007 - March took us on our travels again to give a talk at Steyning Camera Club in Sussex. (www.steyningcc.org.uk) It was a wonderful trip and we finally met up with long time email friend Ken Scott. (see links)

Mar2007- We have formed the North Wales and Wirral AV group. The launch will be an International AV festival to be held in Capel Curig, March 2007. Use feedback to enquire about

Feb2007 - Asia called and we responded. A trip with our good friends Paul and Veronica Thompson took us to Vietnam. Photography in Asia is always special and this trip was no exception.

Jul 2006 -  John decided he needed an adrenalin rush and so went white water rafting on the Treweryn. Images in Marion's 'Adventure sports' gallery.

Mar 2006 - We are getting around Britain with our talks. March took us to the Livingstone Club in Scotland. Pity about the weather. After planning to stay on for a few days, the rain was so bad we drove home the following day.                

Dec 2005 - New to the guest gallery is Peter Coles Bsc Dip Ed FRPS FIPF EFIAP.

Nov 2005 - For those visiting the site following our recent workshop in Ireland, welcome and thanks again for the wonderful reception you gave us.

Oct 2005 - This year we we had an Autumn trip to Scotland, instead of the normal winter trip. Our travels took us to the Outer Hebridean isles of Harris and Lewis.

Mar 2005 - John was awarded his DPAGB distinction by the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain.

Feb 2005 -  There is a new addition to John's gallery, ' Xmas in Snowdonia'. Also new to the guest gallery is Ron Davies FRPS, FIPF ,AV-EFIAP

Feb 2005 - John won the L&CPU annual AV competition with 'Brief Encounter'

Feb 2005 -  Started making ' Y Bugail Tal-y-Braich' AV with Ron Davies.  

Dec 2004 - We woke up to a white xmas down at the cottage. Two days wonderful photography followed.       

Sept 2004 - Prints can now be purchased at V12 outdoor shop in Llanberis North Wales

April 2004 - John has been awarded his ARPS distinction by the Royal Photographic Society

Feb 2004 - The annual winter trip to Scotland didn't produce the dramatic light of previous years, but we still managed to get some interesting shots. see galleries.

Jan 2004 - Free sound editing software. See 'Articles' for a review by Marion.

Sept 2003 - Our move into digital AV is paying off. Marion has got second place and John a Highly commended in the National AV Championships.

May 2003 - The cottage is now finished being renovated and we can look forward to getting out and getting some more photography done.

Feb 2003 - Another wonderful trip to Scotland. We had a cottage  with our good friends Dave & Sigrun Tollerton in Ormiscaig,Loch Ewe,Wester Ross. The images can be seen in our galleries. John's / Marion's

Dec 2002 - We have now finished the Wirral project and the 18 prints now hang on the walls of our local hospital.

Aug 2002 - The tragic death of Galen and Barbara Rowell www.mountainlight.com  has left us both Shocked. Condolences to all their family and friends. Galen has been the biggest influence on John's photography for many year's. See Brief encounter

May 2002 - Marion has recently had her A panel in Audio Visual  assessed by the Royal Photographic Society. This resulted in her being awarded the prestigious ARPS.

Mar 2002 - We have had a wonderful week in Glen Coe, Scotland. The light was simply stunning
